Chicago FUDG - Tuesday, 10 Feb 09
Our sponsor in the Monadnock Building is being shut down by a parent company back East, so we have to move to a new location. This month we move about a mile west for our meeting (see below). Be there for a brain meld on the subject of "Maintaining Legacy Fox Pro Apps". Jim Wiggins is offering to add some insights on keeping alive reports written way back in FoxBase. Combine that with a refactoring case study by Tom Druffel. Tom will show how to use the collection class to manage non modal forms for an order entry application. Bill Drew has some good stuff on Fox Charts to show disk usages on a network. Bring your most recent trick. We have now negotiated a meeting room location at Jak's Tap, 901 W. Jackson. Remember your dues ($90 annually or $15 for a single meeting). Order an economic stimulus burger and a stein. We commence at 5:30pm this coming Tuesday, February 10th, 2009.
