West Wind Internet Protocols 4.55 released  
West Wind Technologies has released West Wind Internet Protocols 4.55 also known as wwIPStuff. The product provides a suite of Internet Client tools to allow desktop and any other client application to communicate easily using common Internet Protocols. The tools support full client HTTP connectivity for accessing any kind of Web content for distributed applications. It also supports SMTP and POP3 email access, FTP client functionality, TCP/IP Socket access, Internet Connection and Dialing features, Domain lookup and a host of utility functionality. This release is primarily a maintenance release that fixes a few open issues as well as adding a handful of user requested features. New features include explicit support for Passive FTP, FTP Change directory, the ability to explicitly cache HTTP requests, new Dialing options including using the Windows connection dialer dialog, and the ability to convert dates to and from MIME dates. wwIPStuff is available as fully functional shareware.
