Atlanta FoxPro Users Group Meeting (May 18th, 2005)

The Atlanta Foxpro Users Group is pleased to announce that Rick Schummer will be making our May presentation(s). Rick is the president of White Light Computing, Inc.

"1: Builders Made Easy"

Builder technology has been around since VFP 3.0, yet when the topic of builders comes up, it is met with blank stares. Rick will demonstrate builder technology inside of VFP, how to leverage the existing builders, and create and register your own builders. VFP 9 adds a new technology called Property Editors that work a lot like builders, but focus on setting one property.

"2: Get More Productive with VFP"

Are you as productive with VFP as you can be, or wish to be? How do other developers use the VFP development tool to bring applications to market quicker? Are there tips I can learn to save me 10 minutes a day or an hour a week? VFP 9, while focused on features that effect the end user's experience, has a number of excellent productivity enhancements.
